Inspired by the latest Netflix series "Senna," I created a promotional video for the Rolex Daytona Chronograph. The process began with writing the storyline and sketching some major scene. I then searched for flat images of the ROLEX hashtag#Cosmograph hashtag#Daytona, which took 2-3 hours. For 3D modeling, I used Maxon's hashtag#Cinema4D and hashtag#Redshift for rendering, also leveraging the seamless workflow between hashtag#Cinema4D and Adobe's post-production tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro. Most people know me for 3dsmax/ Vray/Unreal Engine/Vantage (usually I use this for ArchiViz), but yeh, Maxon's workflow with Adobe hashtag#Aftereffects using Cineware is a tough combination to beat for this type of work.

After completing the hashtag#3Dmodel of the hashtag#RolexWatch in Cinema 4D over a period of 8 hours (give or take), I had to draw the line on how much more detail to add to the model. I then spent 3 hours texturing the model and positioning cameras for still image capturing. This is what everyone would have seen me publish a little while ago. After the still image/virtual photoshoot, I exported the model directly to After Effects. Using 3D cameras in After Effects and the Adobe Render Queue for production I rendered clips with the hashtag#Cineware plugin and C4D render directly from After Effects. I also rendered some clips from Redshift directly in Cinema 4D as 'png-sequences' without backgrounds. ElevenLabs provided the voice narration, and I used licensed videos from Adobe Stock to enhance the storytelling. Finally, I assembled everything in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop (for the ThumbNail) and 'wallah'!

NB: I also added fast-forward scenes during the model building phase.

The entire project took 16 hours of dedicated effort over a 3 day period, including rendering and re-rendering. During the "dead-time" of hashtag#3Drendering, which I liken to waiting for laundry at a laundromat, I managed other commercial contracts. The result of this effort is this personal-project video (not commercial work).
